How do I create a clan?
Before you create a Clan, be sure to search for a Friend's Clan for easier entry.

How do I invite people to my clan?
Only Clan Leaders can add Friends and Tracked Players to a clan. Clan Invites can be sent in two ways.

1. Type in the Friend or Tracked Player you wish to add to your clan into the Player Search bar and press Enter.

6. Highlight the user you wish to invite and click on their name to invite them.
7. Your invite will be confirmed with "Sending"

How do I join a clan?
Clans are invite only from the Clan Leader.
Request an invitation on the Clan Feed.
1. Click "Connect"
2. Click "Clans"
3. Type the Clan's name in the "Find an Existing Clan" search bar and press Enter.
4. Select the Clan name in the search results.
5. On the Clan's page, scroll down to the Clan Feed section and select "Post A Comment."
6. Type in your message as to why you'd like to join the Clan and click "Post a Comment."

Up to 100 people can be in a clan.

How do I select a new background for my Clan page?
1. Click "Connect"
2. Click on the name of your Clan.

5. Mouse over the background you like and select "Preview" to preview how it looks or "Apply" to set it as the background for your clan.
How do I select my Clan Title?
Clan Titles are unlocked when your Clan reaches Clan Level 5 and can only be changed by the Clan Leader.
If the Clan Leader changes the Elite Clan Title, it will be updated immediately for all Clan members who have chosen to use the Elite Clan Title over their own Player Title.
1. Click the "Connect" section of the site bar on the ELITE website.
2. Click on the name of your Clan.
3. Click "Manage Clan"
4. Type in the text of your Clan Title in "Clan Motto"
5. Select "Change Title"
6. Select from five titles unlocked at Clan Level 5, 15, 30, 40 and 50 and then click "Choose"
7. Click "Save Changes"
To select your Elite Clan Title in Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer:
1. In Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer, select "Callsign"
2. Select "Elite Clan Title"
3. Confirm you want to use your Elite Clan Title instead of your current title.

The Clan Leader is the only member who can change the Clan Message. When the Clan Message is changed, it is updated immediately to all Clan Members.

2. Click on the name of your Clan.
3. Click the "Pen" icon under the "Message of the Day" bar of your Clan Profile page.
4. Type in your message and click "Update"

You can view your Clan Message of the Day in Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer on the Clans page of your Friend's List by:
1. Opening up your Friends List in Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer by pressing "Y" on 360 or "Triangle" on PS3.
2. Scrolling to the right of your Friends List section until you find your Clan List with your Clan Mates.
You can also view your Clan Message of the Day in the ELITE console app.

The Elite Clan Tag can only be changed by the Clan Leader. If the Clan Leader changes the Elite Clan Tag, it will be updated immediately for all Clan members who have chosen to use the Elite Clan Tag over their own Clan Tag.

What is the "Gold Clan Tag?"
If your Clan is Level 10 or greater, your clan is eligible to use a Gold Clan tag which can not be duplicated by any other clan. Make your mark!
The Gold Clan tag is viewable in two spots:
1. Next to your clan name on the Elite Website.
2. In MW3 Multiplayer on your Player Card.
How do I enter my Clan Motto?
Clan Mottos are unlocked at Level 5 and can only be changed by the Clan Leader.
If the Clan Leader changes the Clan Motto, the Clan Motto for all Clan members will be changed immediately.
Clan Leaders can edit their Clan Motto by:
1. Click the "Connect" section of the site bar on the ELITE website.
2. Click on the name of your Clan.
3. Click "Manage Clan"
4. Select the "Clan Motto" box and type in your Elite Clan Motto which will be displayed on your Clan Title.
5. Click "Save Changes"

Your Clan Motto appears on your Elite Clan Title in Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer.
